TOP HAND BEEF & BEANS

Hal Novak (recipe exchange)

2 lbs. Top Sirloin ------ cut into ¾ in. cubes
1 tsp. Each------salt, pepper, seasoned salt
¾ tsp. Garlic salt
2 tbs. Cooking oil
1 med. Onion diced
1 28oz. Mild green chili sauce
1 27oz. Sliced green chilis
2 29 oz. Pinto beans
1 29 oz. Black beans
1 15 ½ oz. Kidney beans
1 14 ½ oz. Mexican style diced tomatoes
½ cup Rojo’s medium salsa
Chopped garlic to taste [I like lots]

Brown cubed, seasoned meat in oil in Dutch oven #16. Add diced onion & chopped garlic. Cover and cook for 45min. @ 350 deg. Add green chili sauce. Cook @300deg. Till meat is tender---about 1 hr. Add Green chilies, Rojo’s salsa, beans, & tomatoes. Cook @ 300deg. for additional 30 mins.
